I grew up in Dodge City, KS and migrated to K-State where I hung out for 4 years while I worked on my bachelor's degree in Philosophy.

I'm married to comic writer Dennis Hopeless. We live in a 100-year-old house in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Kansas City with our dog Bacon. He's kind of loud, but he likes to snuggle so I forgive him. I like coffee and books and I collect antique scissors. Yep, scissors.

I'm a tattoo artist working at Exile Tattoo in Kansas City, MO. I've been tattooing for 7 years now, and loving every minute of it!

I got my first tattoo at 19 and decided that day that I wanted to learn how to tattoo, but it took three years and an untouched stack of law school applications to decide to make it my career.
